Hi, I’m Avery — and I get it, because I’ve lived it.

I’m Avery Wasmanski, LPC — a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, providing individual therapy, group therapy, and ADHD assessments for women and moms across the state. I see clients in-person at my Royersford office and virtually anywhere in Pennsylvania.

get to know me

A mix of warmth, humor, and professional expertise.

Strategies and insights tailored to how their ADHD brain actually works.

Feeling seen and understood without judgment.

My willingness to “go there” and have deep, honest conversations.

My clients often tell me they appreciate:

I understand the overwhelm, the exhaustion, and the way ADHD can weave itself into every part of life. My own lived experience shapes the way I show up in session — not as a blank slate, but as a real person who gets it.

That means I might share parts of my own journey when it’s helpful, laugh with you, sit on the floor if that’s where the conversation takes us, or drop the occasional F-bomb when the moment calls for it. I hold strong, healthy boundaries — but I’m never going to pretend I’m not human.

As a mom of two and a late-diagnosed woman with ADHD, I know what it’s like to juggle a million responsibilities while wondering why it feels so much harder than it “should.”

I became a therapist because I believe the therapist–client relationship is sacred. The space we create together is where so much of the healing happens — not just in the tools or strategies we use, but in the trust, safety, and authenticity we build together.

let's connect
